Update: Directors of First Solution Branches
Below is an extract from some comments from First Solution Branch Directors.
We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to those who have already expressed their appreciation.
We know there are many other people who feel likewise but have not yet expressed it.
We, the branches are attempting this very bold step for the sake of our community. All of us are businessmen and we have calculated our risk.
We just need the Governments Official Receivers to see what we see, to feel what we feel.
However we do not wish to make this a publicity stunt, as most agents are very trustworthy people with in their own communities and publicity stunts will not earn them anymore respect than they all ready have.

****There is no or ever been a free lunch****
We should not be fooled by this outbreak of benovalence for the ex branch directors. This trust me is nothing to do with helping the community but a good business idea. FS was making good money and a resurrected one with twice the good will probaby double the taking. The directors know that and have “calucated the risk” accordingly.
The should come out and declare that it is purely a business transaction and not some philathropic gesture for the community, which it is not!
Its just good business!

Can someone explain to me who the “branch directors” are?
Are they different from the actual directors?

angry man,
thank you very very much for your confidence in our rescue stratergy.
however this is not just limeted to branch directors we are welcoming many investors from all walks of the commercial world, and many of these people are bringing differant values to the project.
just to clarify that it is for the community, we will show and tell everyone what we did, why we did & how we did, this includes demonstrating how it is for the community.

rescue deal >>>>
YOU ARE DOING THIS FOR THE COMMUNITY!??
Ok. So you will NOT be charging people commission for the remittance right? This is as you yourself proclaim this is charitable effort for the benefit of the community?
You do that and I will eat my words, until then you are just another opportunist like all others, out to make quick buck. There is no shame in that, making money or taking over FS as it will boost the good will of the resurrected business as I have said before but please pleasee don’t make yourself out to be some sort of saint - a”Banglabhondu”, out to save the community.
Fazal Madhmoooood and Maheeee Fart-heuse have laid claim to that title already!

angry man you are missing something here,
the repayment to all the creditors is the gesture of goodwill and sincerety towards to community,
paying them is not a legal obligation, it is one of social morals obligations that we chose to take on.
also bear in mind at no point did we mention that we will be giving charity to our fellow bangladeshi’s as the william beg-rich fund is there to do that.
salvageing the network is an business decsision.
how ever i take on your comments that we are not any kind of saint as that is not what we want to prove. neither do we wish to be known as any Banglabondhu. there absolutly nothing wrong with being ourselves.

rescue deal****
No, it certainly is not charity, so do not make it out to be one.
You are buying out FS for £1.7m or whatever the amount. This is because you know its a good business. Now, let me put it anotherway. If it is about good will then the good will has an intangible value that can be turned in to a tangible value once the company is revived.
If it was all about moral and social obligation as you have previously claimed (which implies that you are obliged some how and consider yourself responsible) then you should just pay the £1.7m and forget about reviving FS.
But you and I know what you are buying is good will and a brand name. Even negative publicity is good publicity. FS is now known worldwide and paying the £1.7m would buy you further publicity, which itself would be worth more than £1.7m.
You obviously have done your calculations. And good luck to you but stop sounding like mother Theresa by blabbing about moral and social obligations and this is for the community rubbish. It insults ones intelligence.
You are not talking to some freshies here.

rescue deal…
you should print the list of names behind this rescue deal so that people will know whether to support it or not.
How about this ***. Why not all the creditors buy out the company as shareholders***

angry man,
the more you express your self the solutions you uncover to remedy this situation.
here is a proporsition i take it you must also be a creditor.
why dont you take the first step and lead by example and we will drum up a big noise to support you being the fisrt one to take this step.
we are more than happy to go forward in this hand in hand with all the creditors. Which will make this a much stronger entity.
please contact us.
