A brief history on ACTION COMMITTEE TO GET PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK
The Action Committee was set up during the first fortnight of July 2007 after they saw evidence that the ’secondary fraudsters’ had come in to the scene and were trying their bits to sabotage the community in getting the people their money back.
The Action Committe is sponsored by CBRUK (Committee for Bangladeshis’ Rights in the UK). All the costs of setting up, research, monitoring, communication and campaigns for the Action Committee have been covered by the sponsors CBRUK.
CBRUK is totally financially self-supporting and independent of ALL known party political groupings in the UK and anywhere else. CBRUK has been opposing and is opposed to public funding of voluntary activities like this campaign [’The Action Committee…’ re ‘First Solution’].
CBRUK was established on the last weekend of July in 1989 to defend the 40 or so Bangladeshis [mainly young adults under the age of 25] who had been arrested in Bethnal Green Road after a protest demonstration [march from Altab Ali Park to Bethnal Green, where the police station was then sited] held on 15 July 1989 demanding justice for Esmoth Ali [and his relative Watir Ali].
CBRUK is chaired by Muhammad Haque who is also the ”honorary convenor” of this Action Committee.

You can ask me the favours via this mail. I am very busy at the moment though.

This is the first time I have heard of this CBRUK. however I do know Mr Haque quite well. Weho else is in this organisation. He tends to be a one man show and does not take easily to others.
This situation requires diplomacy, tact, sincerity, honesty, comittment and above all unity. Although a committed and hardened experienced campiagner, does he have the tact and diplomacy to make this a success.
He can be quite eccentric, quaint and coarse sometimes and does not give mind to others opinion.
Unfortunately, I do not think we will get anywhere by badmouthing Stephen Timms or George Galloway, however much you don’t agree with their politics.
Acting like a bull in china shop is not the right attitude to get the right result here.
